Bylaws
Thank you for visiting the Wilton PTA Council website. 
We are a nonprofit organization, comprised of Parents, Teachers, the School Administration, and the Community, for the purpose of enhancing the education of the children attending the Wilton Public School system.  The Council coordinates the PTA functions of the PTAs for all of the schools in the Wilton Public School System and acts as a central point for issues that require interface with outside organizations such as the school system administration. 
Each school's PTA is an independent entity and the presidents of those organizations sit on the board of the Council. 
On this website you will find information about the Council as well as links to all of the Wilton School PTAs. You will also find links to the Connecticut State PTA and National PTA organizations.
 
All members of our community are welcome to join the PTA at any time throughout the school year.  Membership is open to all who support the mission and purpose of the National PTA.  We encourage moms, dads, grandparents and friends to give a voice to our children.
 
As with all PTA organizations, we are a volunteer organization and we are always looking for volunteers.  If you are interested in getting involved, please contact a PTA representative at any of the four Wilton schools.

Meetings
PTA Council board meetings (open for the general membership to attend) occur monthly on the following dates for the 2013-2014 school year.  Meetings begin at at 9:30 am in the Comstock Community Center.
