IMPORTANT PTA COMMUNICATION CHANGES

The Wilton PTAs will no longer distribute newsletters through Just Between Friends (JBF). We thank you for your patience with the JBF system over the past two years; however, the roll out of Edline by the district makes JBF a confusing and unnecessary redundancy. Across the schools, over 95% of families are registered on Edline, making the system a very effective communication tool. If you have not had the chance to register with Edline, the PTAs encourage you to do so before the start of the school year.

The second change is to the content of the newsletters. Based on parent and administration feedback regarding content and length of the newsletters, community events blurbs will no longer be included. PTA newsletters will be reserved for news targeted to important information and events at each particular school. Starting with the first editions next school year, the newsletters will contain an events calendar, PTA events section, a school news section, and a link to a list of web sites for community organizations. If you are a member of non-profit organization that would like to be included on the web links list, please email info@wiltonPTA.org with the name of the organization and the web site.
